WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
The beautiful Pacific Northwest is where I've always called home.
It honestly depends on my work load and how busy I am at the given moment, but it typically takes 2 weeks for sessions and 4 weeks for Weddings + Elopements.
I am quality over quantity, so you'll know that I'm spending time well spent with your photos making them the best they can be.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR SHOOTS?
Heck to the ya baby!
I am a HUGE traveler and adore getting to visit new places and people.
My second home is in England and getting to fly or take long drives is something that has thrilled me since childhood.
So whether you're near or far, I'm coming for you!
WHAT IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE?
Things happen! I totally get that.
However if you have to cancel and have already put down a deposit, it is legally non-refundable and a new one will have to be paid to hold down a new date.
If you're only rescheduling, your down payment will be applied if you choose to reschedule, the new date must take place within the calendar year.)
WILL THE WEATHER EFFECT OUR SHOOT?
Being from the PNW, and one of the two out of five people that live here and ADORE the rain, I am the type to run into the rain, rather than away from it!
However if you were desperately hoping for a sunset shoot or it's pouring hard enough that it would hurt my equipment, we can reschedule, not to worry.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU SEND?
While I have a minimum amount I send with my different packages, I honestly don't have a cut off number. Don't worry, I won't send 800. But this is your day, your memories. So I'll be sure to give you enough to look back and remember your amazing moments.
DO YOU SHOOT THINGS OTHER THAN COUPLES, ELOPEMENTS AND WEDDINGS?
While those things definitely take up most of my time and priority, I do still make room and time to do other things! So don't be afraid to ask!
HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?
I require a 30% deposit to secure your spot on my calendar when you book then the rest of the 70% is due two months before sessions and three months before weddings + elopements. You are welcome to split these into payments (up to four) to make it more affordable for you. I'm more than happy to work with your schedule!
DO YOU SEND RAW, UNEDITED IMAGES?
While the actual photography process is what you see the time spent on, most of my art comes from editing and taking the time to make the image the best it can be. So that's a long resounding no from me.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING?
Welcome to my worst nightmare. While this would only happen due to things outside of my control (emergency grade weather, extreme illness, death, etc), if I can't make it your money will be refunded.
HOW DO TRAVEL FEES WORK?
I do charge travel fees for in state when my travel exceeds 100 miles and out of state / out of country which covers roundtrip airfare, two nights stay and transportation.
DO YOU SHOOT LARGE WEDDINGS?
As much as I would like to answer with a yes, to that question, I say no.
While I love big weddings and think they're amazing, the more I attended them made me realize how the focus was mainly on the guests and not the couple.
For your wedding, I want to capture more intimacy which is why I don't accept weddings of 40+ people.
You and your love are insanely important to me.
Table three and their dates on a little too much free bar service, not so much. :)
HOW DO YOU SEND YOUR PICTURES?
I send them through a downloadable link which is available for one calendar year from your date of your session/marriage day. You get full printing + downloading rights, so no worries there.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
HOW MANY WEDDINGS + ELOPEMENT'S + COUPLES SESSIONS DO YOU TAKE A YEAR?
No, my prices are firm.
This varies from year to year, but for 2021 into 2022 I'm only taking 20 wedding's, 15 elopement's and 3 couples session's a month.
I do this so I don't spread myself too thin and am able to give the best experience to my couples.
I focus on the quality of the experiences and the images, not the quantity.
I want to be the absolute best I can be for my peeps.
Creativity is a huge part of the process and the last thing I want to become is a photo robot!
So you'll know I'm not running myself into the ground trying to make a 40 wedding a year quota!
