Cannon Beach Elopement | Jenny + Bronson

Photographing Jenny and Bronson during their elopement on the mesmerizing shores of Cannon Beach was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I met them, I could sense the genuine love and connection that radiated between them. When I finished photographing them the night before for their last session as a nonmarried couple, I truly couldn't wait to head back to the beach to document them saying yes and walk into the rest of their lives together. And that journey was extra special with their gorgeous little babe growing in J's belly.

We met at their sweet little inn by the sea the next morning. It was such a sweet sight to see them on the morning of such an exciting day. They were a mess of excited giggles and joy as they helped each other get ready, which made everything extra romantic. I got to meet Jenny's dear friend Corinne who traveled over from Texas to marry them. She was so incredibly sweet, I had a feeling I would shed a few tears hearing what she had written for the ceremony. I was not wrong. After we had relaxed and nibbled some yummy breakfast foods, we all piled in our separate cars and drove to the beach. The sun was hot and relatively high in the sky, so we were surprised when we saw that we pretty much had the entire place all to ourselves. Though, that wasn't exactly ideal. Since the officiant cannot sign the marriage license as a witness, I was the only witness available! But we were hopeful that someone would come down to the sand at the right time! And they did just that. A sweet family agreed to bare witness to Jen + Bron saying "I do". They even clapped when they sealed forever with a kiss! 🙂 The dad was the one to sign it and he was honestly the sweetest. I didn't catch your name, but random tourist from Idaho, you're a real one!!

We spent the rest of our time together frolicking amongst the waves and gorgeous scenery. A sweet local company created a picnic basket with some of the most delicious snacks I've had in a good long while and drank bubbly water.

I had to leave them much too soon to hop on a plane back to Washington for an elopement I was shooting the very next day, but I left them so much in love, sunbathing by the surf and talking about their love.

It was one of my favorite days ever. If you guys ever want to come back and do another elopement on Cannon beach, you know where to find me.
