We didn't even mean to be that accurate, yet there we were, telling jokes through rolled down windows and passing water bottles and trading sandwiches they had ordered every one.
Us three had such a fun time laughing and sharing stories as we pumped the air conditioning while we waited for our ferry to arrive.
We had part of their portrait session on the ferry which was pure magic. After, we went to J' family home on Bainbridge island and then over to the beautiful yacht club to celebrate their wedding.
It was a beautiful turn out, full of old friends and dearest family. These people know how to party and I was laughing and chatting with everyone all evening.
J + R, it is no secret I love you. And it is no secret that you love each other. Congratulations sweet angel babies. You deserve everything that's good in the world.
When I first met Julia + Riley, I had a consultation call with them on a hot summer afternoon. My doctor's had run a little longer than I had anticipated. So we had to have it in my car, FaceTiming as sweat dripped down the back of my neck, and even though my windows were down, it wasn't helping any. But J + R went along the call with sweet concentration as we talked over all the exciting details of their day! Never paying any mind to my face that was as red a tomato.
When it came time for their wedding, I honestly couldn't wait. The three of us had become fast friends and I was one of the first people they hugged coming out of the church. 🙂 I whisked my loves away in my new car and we made it to the ferry just as their families all got in line at the same time!
