Long before they said yes to forever on a beautiful lakeside, L + T frolicked with me on Bainbridge Island for their intimate engagement session.
We had our official meeting on the ferry and I knew instantly that not only were they TREASURES of human beings but also that this was going to be a damn good time.
Even though the ferry was crowded, it felt like we were the only ones there.
It was a lot of fun being blown around by the wind and giggling and laughing together.
But the time went by quickly and before we knew it, we were docking.
We made our way down to one of my favorite beaches and popped open some champagne and orange juice. We sipped mimosas while we talked about how they met and how they found their way over from the East coast to Seattle together during the pandemic. I will tell you right now that these two are two of the most in love people I think I've ever met.
Their session went so beautifully and I will admit to crying while I was editing from the emotion that I captured with my lens. It was the most beautiful day with the most beautiful people. And I mean, any time I have an opportunity to do an engagement session on Bainbridge Island, you know I have to.
After, we mentioned how all three of us were pretty famished and they invited me for an early dinner at a delicious pub.
I sadly parted ways with them, but I did manage to save a baby crow that was in the middle of the road before in the ferry line. Fun fact, baby crows are friggin adorable and are also born with blue eyes. Just a little something for a future trivia night.
I got to reunite with them for their elopement and I cried just the same while editing their photos because of the love they have for each other.
I love you, Lexie + Thomas.
You deserve the world and everything good in it. 💛
