Sharon + Sam's wedding day was full of beauty, love, and joy. Their backdrop was the beautiful venue of Avennia Vineyard in Benton City, Washington.
They chose their date, June 12th, with intention. For those of you who don't know, it is Loving Day.
Loving Day is an annual national celebration held on June 12, the anniversary of the 1967 United States Supreme Court decision Loving v. Virginia which struck down all anti-miscegenation laws remaining in sixteen U.S. states.
And what a beautiful loving day it was. The amount of joy and celebration surrounding their union brought tears to my eyes.
Now, I will not lie, it was HOT. It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure the day hit around 98 degrees and only climbed as the day went on. But the tasting room was blasting AC, fans and mist were placed outside for those who wanted to mingle on the patio and water was given out freely and abundantly! They kept the yummy wine flowing too 😉
Sharon + Sam are two of the best people you could ever hope to meet.
They both make you feel loved, seen, heard, and treasured, even if you've only known them for a few short minutes.
They couldn't stop looking at each other, laughing with one another, just enjoying one another's presence.
Being able to not only celebrate their love but also have the honor of documenting it was a pure and utter joy.
My loves, thank you for everything.
